Nigel Sylvester Quote

I've been looking at some of Nigel Sylvester's street edits and there pretty amazing to me. Some of the tricks I have seen him do like his tail whips, bar spins, 360's or any of his spins. There all in a fast move and smooth at the same time. I found a quote by him that I thought was pretty cool. "BMX is
like most things in life, you never stop learning and there is always room to
improve." I like this quote alot because there are unlimited things to learn in bmx. There's so much fun in it. There are alot of good quotes from pro bmx riders but this one of my favorite. This quote is also very true. Even if your the slowest learner in bmx, you can and always will improve at what you want to happen.

Video Interest.

I chose this video because it's one of my favorite edit videos from Aaron Ross. The tricks he does in this is pretty outstanding as well. There's not a whole lot to talk about this video but to watch and see its glory!

L.A bmx X-Games canceled this summer!!

In the summer of 2013, the X-Games Bmx park and vert, skate park has been canceled for the first time in X-Games history except for a hiatus from 2005-2007. BMX Vert and Park disciplines, along with the Skateboard Park event, will not be contested at X Games Los Angeles this year, ESPN confirmed Wednesday. Here are some quotes from some of the riders that are in the X-Games event. "Obviously I'm bummed because it was on the schedule and we were down to ride, so it's definitely a surprise." Said from the rider Jamie Bestwick. "It's a shame that it got canceled, but if it would have happened to another stop, it would have been just as big a shame." I have no idea if it started losing ratings or what happened, but it really sucks," said Daniel Dhers. Also, here is a quote from Tim Reed, senior director of Content Strategy and Sports & Competition at ESPN.
In my opinion I think its a real shame that they would take out these events. This is what put the X in X-Games. This was there best event I have ever seen them present. It had such suspense from all the riding, tricks, and the air the riders put out. It makes me sad that they would take such a thing away from all the people that love bmx and love to watch the X-Games Bmx events.

Introducing myself.

Hello, my name is Dustin and I am a Junior at Diamond Oaks. I am taking Digital Arts and Design here for a career I want to get into. My core theme about my blog is pretty much all about biking and about it. The fun, anticipation, adventure, greatness about it. It's all about having a fun day with you're friends and you're bike. My interests in life are pretty basic. I like to have fun with my friends, I love to ride my bike, I like to play games, go swimming, do random stuff when I'm bored, cause all kinds of shenanigans with my friends. What really grinds my gears about things are, when people in front of me walk so slow I would have to stop sometimes and try to pass them. I hate when people interrupt me when I try to say something. I hate when people are loud and annoying when it is unnecessary.

Image of the Day!

I picked this picture for the image of the day because I thought it was pretty (spot on) awesome looking! I mean, doing a 360 to gap over a rail and a huge set of stairs is pretty sketchy to me but very impressive. I know I wouldn't even try to or even think about attempting it let alone actually attempting it. That is just to much for me at the moment. Yeah it would be fresh to land it but if you mess up your going to have very hard fall, and possibly break something or mess your self up. And another thing I love about this photo is that it has an effect to where there are multiple pictures all in one to lay out the whole scene.
